What we offer
We offer scholarships to students completing the Nuclear Medicine Scientist Embedded Program.
Our scholarship offers up to $15,000 per year to support you while you're studying your degree, paid each fortnight.
You may need to pay income tax on this financial support. It’s a good idea to get financial advice and to check with Centrelink about how this could affect your finances.
Who can apply
You can apply for a scholarship at the same time you are applying for the Nuclear Medicine Scientist Embedded Student Program.
You must be enrolled in full time study in the Bachelor of Medical Radiation (Nuclear Medicine – Industry Practice) with RMIT University.
To join the program, you must:
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident
- be a domestic student
- live in Queensland
show proof you’ve had the vaccines you need to work with us to protect patients, staff and the community against vaccine preventable diseases.

Please complete the application form [PDF 306.78 KB] and submit it, along with certified identification to AH_CETU@health.qld.gov.au.
Applications close on Sunday, 23 August 2026. Unfortunately, late applications cannot be considered.
What happens next
We’ll review your application and may ask you to attend an interview.
If you’re successful, we’ll send you a letter of offer and scholarship agreement.
