RMO and registrar campaign 2025

The campaign for the 2025 clinical year has now closed. Note that late applications are not accepted.

On 17 September 2024 we were made aware that the RMO campaign system had incorrectly sent out an automated email overnight to a number of applicants stating they had an incomplete application for the 2025 clinical year.

We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. We are working with the system vendor to identify the cause of the issue. Please delete the email. No further action is required.

About the campaign

The campaign recruits for the following positions throughout Queensland:

  • Provisional Fellowship Year (PFY)
  • Registrar (REG)
  • Principal House Officer (PHO)
  • Senior House Officer (SHO)
  • Junior House Officers (JHO).

Registrar level positions are generally training positions. However, some facilities offer positions at this level that are non-accredited training and may not count towards training time. Please check with the facility directly about these positions.

PGY2 are not precluded from applying for non-rotational SHO positions but would be paid at the rate commensurate with their postgraduate experience under the applicable award.
