About the summit
The 2 day summit is for rural generalists who have gained fellowship in the last 5 years. You’ll get to upskill with colleagues and learn about:
- leadership, supervision and management skills
- post-fellowship support, clinician wellbeing and career next steps
- rural case studies
- refreshing procedural skills in women's health, mental health, skin cancer and emergency medicine.
You'll also get to network with your peers.
Who can attend
To attend the summit, you must work in Queensland and have:
- current medical registration
- fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) or the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners – Rural Generalist (RACGP-RG) within the last 5 years.

Costs
This course is free for eligible rural generalist fellows. We’ll also book and pay for your accommodation if needed.
You’ll need to arrange your own transport.
If you're not Queensland Rural Generalist Pathway alumni, you might still be able to attend but you may need to pay a fee. Contact the team to discuss via rural_generalist@health.qld.gov.au
