The Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC) has certified the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (No. 3) 2025 [PDF 1370 KB] (HWF EB3).
The new agreement is effective from 23 December 2025.
Queensland Health is working to implement the terms and conditions of HWF EB3 as quickly as practicable. Employees received their first-year 3% wage increase and backpay on 11 March 2026.
Key features of HWF EB3
HWF EB3 provides an 8% wage increase over the life of the agreement, in line with the Public Sector Wages Policy, with CPI uplift adjustment where activated.
The agreement also offers night shift penalty increases, improvements to the Remote Incentive Scheme and greater recognition for our rural and remote areas.
